MICROSOFT appears to have confirmed the launch of Windows 9 with a post on social media and fans look set to see the return of the home button.
We�re not sure if it was a mistake or Microsoft teasing its Windows fans.But earlier today the company�s Chinese division popped this logo on social media.
Along with image came the wording �Microsoft�s latest OS Windows 9 is coming soon, do you think the start menu at the left bottom will make a comeback?�
The post has since been removed from the Weibo site.
Microsoft are set to offically announce their new operating system, currently codenamed Threshold, on September 30th.
But don�t get too excited as users won�t see it arrive on their PCs until spring 2015.
In other Microsoft news, the company is expected to unveil its new Lumia 730 �selfie phone� later this week in Berlin.
The device which will be unveiled on Thursday, could include a whopping 5-megapixel front facing camera and a 4.7-inch display.
It will run on Windows 8.1 and looks set to be priced at around �300 sim free.
