The following are the simplified steps to follow
  •  Begin by Pressing the transfer key, TRSF.
  •  Press 1 0 4.
  •  Press the HOLD button to delete current name.
  •  Use the alpha numeric key pad to type in the new name.
  •  NB: If you need to create a space, press the # button twice. If you require a letter on the same key, i.e. D and E, use the Volume + key to move the cursor.
Depending on the phone you have, You can change to lower from upper case use one of the following buttons.
7 button = button 1
12 button = button 7
14 button = button 8
21 button = button 15
24 button = button 19
38 button = button 15

  •  Press the transfer button, TRSF, to save and exit.

Ting is really 2 services. Are you using Ting CDMA on the Sprint network or the new Ting GSM on T-Mobile's network?

Go to https://ting.com/account/devices and look at what it says in the "NETWORK" column.

Currently, Wi-Fi Calling is only available on the Ting GSM network for select models of phones.

If you click on a GSM phone using the above link, there will be an option to enable Wi-Fi Calling.

Question 2
how to set up WiFi calling on Verizon Samsung galaxy s6?

Answer
